Jennifer Novak Haar is a photographer in Omaha, Nebraska. Although she only picked up her first “real” camera in 2017, she has accomplished a lot in the last seven years. She has made several top 100 lists in international competitions and was accepted into the 2023 and 2024 Nebraska Biennial Juried Exhibition at Gallery 1516, the 2024 Norfolk Arts Center Juried Show and the 2024 Sioux City Arts Center Biennial Exhibition. Jennifer is an Omaha Entertainment Arts Awards nominee for best group show, “Conditions”, a show chronicling life with chronic illness, at The Little Gallery Benson; she has also had a solo show at the Slattery Gallery at the Josie Harper Hospice House and a group show at Gallery 92 in Fremont with the Omaha Camera Club, of which she is a board member. Her photos have been featured in calendars and brochures for various organizations and in the Omaha World Herald and Midwest Living. Jennifer sells prints, calendars, and photo greeting cards at the Wildwood Historic Center in Nebraska City, on Etsy (JNHPhotoArt), Fine Art America (jennifer-novakhaar.pixels.com) and through her portfolio site (jennifernovakhaar.myportfolio.com). Her primary interest is wildlife/nature photography; she loves nature’s vibrant colors and the ability to see details through the camera that aren’t visible to the naked eye. As well as a photographer, Jennifer is a professional pianist.
